Meister:
A meister is an exemplary human being; meisters must have excellent stamina and have strong souls. They bond, or resonate, with weapon partners in order to defeat Kishins to make the weapon strong enough to be a Death Scythe.
Weapon:
Weapons are humans who have the ability to turn into different weapons. The type of weapon they turn into can be based on where they come from or their personality.
Witch:
A witch is an evil person, generally female, that has magic. They are usually very cruel persons, only caring for their own personal goals. They put themselves before anyone else. A witch has an animal form that relates to their powers.
Mage:
A mage is similar to a witch, except they have chosen the path of the righteous. When a mage goes evil, she or he becomes a witch. A mage has an animal form that relates to their powers.
Mortal:
Mortals are plain people. They don't have the ability to wield a weapon, nor are they magical. They're just people going through life.
Immortal:
Immortals are people who live forever. Their life span goes past that of normal people and, most of the time, immortals have some magic abilities.
Death Scythe:
Death Scythes are weapons, not necessarily scythes, that have eaten 99 Kishin souls and 1 witch soul to become a weapon of Lord Death. These weapons are incredibly powerful; they have to be to serve Lord Death.
Kishin:
Kishins are corrupted human souls, souls that have eaten so many pure, innocent souls that they have become evil. Kishins do not feel anything except rage and pain. They are entirely selfish and, like witches, only think of themselves.
Pre-Kishin:
Pre-Kishins are still human, in some way. They've eaten at least one human soul and are well on their way to becoming full Kishins. They're cold humans and they can be meisters or weapons or even witches.
