[OPEN]Worrying and Ice Cream

[Tsubaki Nakatsukasa]

Tsubaki was treating herself to ice cream. She figured she earned it. Plus, it was a way for her to relax. She hadn't seen her meister in a while, since classes let out, and she knew that there was nothing good of her sitting in their apartment worrying. Tsubaki knew that worrying brought more bad than good.

She was sitting in Death Robbins with a double scoop bowl, one scoop vanilla and one scoop strawberry. Tsubaki sighed to herself and spooned some double flavored ice cream into her mouth. A smile settled on her face as soon as the ice cream touched her tongue and the flavor exploded through her mouth. Ice cream was delicious and it was a nice treat. She mentally patted herself on the back; a trip to Death Robbins was definitely a good idea.

The camellia blossom dropped her gaze to her ice cream. It was melting -she needed to eat faster. She spooned a large chunk of ice cream out of the bowl and into her mouth... And immediately regretted it. She dropped the spoon abruptly and covered her mouth, her face slightly red.

"Ahhh - 'o 'od! 'O 'od!" She shook her head back and forth rapidly, repeating the same garbled phrase over and over until the ice cream melted in her mouth. "Oh gosh, that was cold!" She exclaimed, reaching for a napkin. She dabbed at her mouth and blushed, looking around the ice cream parlor. She really hoped no one had seen that little fit.

[Asny Boyson]

Asny sat in the ice cream parlor, slowly eating a thing of grasshopper pie ice cream. The mixture of mint, chocolate chips, and oreo cookie chunks was just downright delicious. Asny sat quietly, as she was alone and had no one to talk to. Usually her brother sat and talked to her while she ate her sweets but he was too busy doing 'adult things' with some pretty girl.

Asny huffed and blew her short, blond bangs out of the way. She took another big spoonful and sighed with delight. Oh, how she loved her sweets. And now she's old enough that her brother can't say no! She smiled triumphantly. She looked up and over her shoulder when she heard someone yelp. She noticed a girl sitting nearby. She looked adorable as she tried to recover from a brain freeze.

Standing up, she walked over with her bowl of ice cream. "You know, Brain freezes are from the top of your mouth getting cold. So if you got a brain freeze, just press your tongue to the top of your mouth should help the pain." Asny smiled as she spoke and silently waited for the girl to reply.

[Tsubaki Nakatsukasa]

Tsubaki coughed lightly into her napkin and spooned out some more ice cream. Before she could put another spoonful into her mouth, someone spoke. The black haired girl looked up and set her spoon in the bowl as she did. The speaker was a very pretty blond girl holding her own bowl of ice cream.

The blond's words fully set in and Tsubaki dropped her napkin, covering her face as she blushed bright red. "Oh no," she cried out, "y-you saw that?" She shook her head side-to-side for a few seconds and stopped, peering between her fingers at the girl. She really couldn't believe someone saw her go through brain-freeze. That wasn't something Tsubaki was used to and having someone witness her embarrassment was even worse. She just couldn't believe it. From behind her hands, Tsubaki managed to say, though, "Thank you for the tip... Um..." She trailed off and felt her face start to cool. "Would you like to sit down? I'm Tsubaki!"

The black haired girl beamed at the blond before returning to her ice cream. She spooned a smaller amount than before into her mouth, pleased when she wasn't overtaken by the cold. She didn't know if she could do that ever again on purpose. Now that she knew too big of a spoonful would give her a brain-freeze, Tsubaki would be sure not to do it again. Swallowing the ice cream, Tsubaki looked up and beamed at the blond once again. "Are you a student at the DWMA?" she asked brightly.

[Asny Boyson]

Asny laughed and sat down across from the girl. "I'm Asny." She smiled brightly at Tsubaki before taking another bite of ice cream. "Oh no," She said in between mouthfuls. "I just moved here from out of town." She silently savoured her ice cream, going out of her way to find the cookie bits and she let it melt.

"I'm assuming that you're a student? And that you thought that I looked young enough to be a student, so thank you." She laughed heartily before taking another bite. "This ice cream is so delicious. What kind did you get?" She asked as she peered into Tsubaki's melted bowl. "Looks like goop." She said whilst laughing.

[Tsubaki Nakatsukasa]

A gentle smile slid on Tsubaki's face when the girl sat down across from her. She was pleased to have company -it got her mind off of things. She enjoyed having someone to talk to, as well. It never did to be alone, only to be with happy, pleasant company. Tsubaki spooned some soupy ice cream into her mouth and set the spoon carefully in the bowl, swallowing. She looked up in alarm at Asny when, after introducing herself, she said she just moved there.

"Really?" Tsubaki inquired. "You don't look out of high school!" Tsubaki shook her head and beamed at the girl. "Well, it's nice to meet you. Welcome to our fair city." The weapon giggled and picked up her bowl. She cautiously sipped at the melted ice cream until there was none left. She set her bowl down and grabbed a napkin, dabbing delicately at her face. She spooned some ice cream on her spoon and looked up when Asny spoke. "You do look young enough to be one of my classmates!" Tsubaki exclaimed, her smile never faltering. "And yes, I am a student. I'm a sophomore this year."

The black haired girl spooned some ice cream into her mouth and smiled when Asny mentioned her ice cream. She looked back down and sighed around her spoon; her ice cream was melting too fast for her to keep up with it. Darn. Next time, she'd order less.

"I ordered strawberry and vanilla," Tsubaki informed the blond, nodding. "What kind did you get?" she asked before spooning more ice cream into her mouth.
